The City of Westport is seeking to improve its success in communication and engagement with the community of Westport. The city is particularly seeking direction for how to communicate city government news and schedules, public works information like street closures and utility disruptions, and emergency notifications. They are hoping to leverage existing social and communication platforms, which direct people back to a city-managed system for deeper engagement when appropriate. The CEP 460 student team will research options and recommend appropriate platforms and an overall strategy that the City will use for public engagement.
